Meet Andrew & Clayton!
Bringing my kids up to love animals like their momma!
This was Andrew's pair of Buff Call Ducks.
He misses them very much, and still waits for his pen (with a special A framed into the door)
to be filled up again with another pair.
We lost them last year in a very unfortunate accident.

Andrew & Clayton, share a pair of Spangled OEGB.

- Science Fair Project -

2009
So my niece Keelie, decided to hatch chicks for her science fair project.
I gave her a dozen eggs, from some of my Orps, Silkies, and Cochins that I had.
She got 8 chicks to hatch I believe, 7 cochin and 1 silkie.
Here she is with pictures of her, and her project on display.
The school messed with the due date a couple times for the project so we got worried the chicks
wouldn't hatch in time, so we bought 2 OE chicks for her, her eggs she incubated
hatched the AM her project was due! She also hatched 3 of 4 Large Fowl Orpington eggs from
Korfus Kluckers, she took the Orpingtons and the OE to school in the AM then in the
evening after her new borns got settled she took them in.
Her project was a very popular area for people to gather, she did great!
She and her brother, have since come with me to a couple of shows and helped me out with the raffle table, and caring for the birds. Shes such a good helper!
